This speaker was in 1980 designed by my friend Eddie Verkroost. It was used in a normal living room. This is still the best speaker I have ever heard.  Very neutral, relaxed, inaudible intermodulation distortion and despite what was expected, everywhere in the room a hugh stereo image. Easy dynamics. Sounded optimal on all kind of recordings.

Four 15" woofers, sixteen 5" mid range and sixteen 1" dome tweeters in a closed cabinet. Filters were 6dB/octave. This was possible because overload outside the pass band would not occur.

When he finished building this speaker, his wife was looking at the TV in a adjacent room. She complained that they had to buy a new set, because the colors were blurred...
Nowadays the strong magnetic field is not a problem for LCD screens.

One of his later designs was a two meter high line source of ribbon tweeters, several mid range speakers and two 18" JBL's. This loudspeaker  was designed for a rocking sound.
